BANGALORE: Infosys has announced its plans to make huge investments in Chennai.
The announcement was made during Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi's visit to the Infosys campus here on Thursday. Union minister for communications and IT Dayanidhi Maran accompanied his grand-uncle Karunanidhi to the Infosys campus.
The company plans to invest Rs 1250 crore over the next three to four years, and hire around 25,000 people during the same period, at its upcoming 125-acre campus at Mahindra City SEZ near Chennai, said TV Mohandas Pai, Infosys board member and head of HR, education and research.
